President Wada visited the Center for Conservation and Investigation of the Cultural Heritage at Tikal National Park (CCIT), Republic of Guatemala

From July 3 to 8, President Wada and three Kanazawa University staff members visited Guatemala. During their stay, they met with the Guatemalan Minister of Culture and Sports, visited the Kanazawa University Liaison Office in Tikal National Park, inspected the excavation site of the Tikal Ruins conducted by Professor Seiichi Nakamura, and inspected a project commissioned by JICA aimed at improving the lives of community residents around Tikal.
