Modernization Heritage Symposium Kanazawa 2022

Kanazawa University Museum will hold Modernization Heritage Symposium Kanazawa 2022（Subsidy for Cultures and Arts Promotion Fund, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, FY Reiwa4: Innovate Museum Project）
The purpose of this symposium is to define modernization heritage as "cultural heritage related to or contributed to the modernization of the nation and society," to position it as a new tourism and cultural resource, and to use it as a regional revitalization and tourism resource.
Takaramachi Campus preserves medical materials, three modernized buildings built in the Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods: the old archive, the anatomical specimen storage, and the pathology storage, as well as a brick wall and gateposts.
There are many valuable modernization heritages around us.
We would like convey many people about Kanazawa which has many modern heritage sites, and about the splendor Ishikawa.
After the symposium, a campus tour is scheduled, so please join us if you are interested in the heritage of modernization.
